ITRN CONFERENCE PROGRAMME NOW AVAILABLE!

Key note speakers:
Professor Tschangho John Kim, Professor of Urban and Regional Systems at the University of Illinois, has been confirmed as key note speaker at this year's ITRN conference.

Taxi Research Day, Lisbon, July 2010
ITRN have been asked to bring the following event to the attention of its members:
The Transport Research Institute at Edinburgh Napier University is co-hosting a taxi research day running in parallel to WCTR, in Lisbon.
The Taxi Research Meeting will be held on the 13th July, and will include 2 special sessions at the WCTR, and an additional morning session.
An invitation to join the meeting can be accessed at: http://www.taxiresearch.net/www.taxiresearch.net/Taxi_Network_Meeting.html, but we are particularly inviting young researchers to make poster presentations as a part of the research day.
Posters should address any area of:
TAXI TRANSPORT, TAXICAB REGULATION, and DEMAND RESPONSIVE TRANSPORT.
Date: 13th July 2010, all day
Venue: Pestana Palace, Lisabon, Portugal (500 metres from WCTR), and WCTR Congress Center
Headline speakers: Kathleen Doyle, CTR, Ireland; John Mason, TfL; Matt Daus, New York City; Reinhart Kuehne, DLR Germany; Sean Barrett, TCD.
Cost: Free, but registration required.
We have a particular interest in young academics making presentations on Taxi and DRT subjects, and have held back a number of poster slots for this purpose.
